アメリカの小学校のランチ事情
アメリカの小学校のランチってどういうものを食べているの?
日本の給食とは違う?? どんな風に?
そのように思われる方も多いのでは?
アメリカの学校(ここでの情報は娘の通っているカリフォルニアのトーランス地区の学校の情報になります。)では、ランチは自分でお弁当を持参するか、 学校で購入することができます。
お弁当はサンドイッチ＋フルーツなどが定番です。
Buy Lunch (バイランチ) といわれる、学校で支給されるランチはメニューがあらかじめ決められているので、メニューを見ながら「この日はPizzaだから Buy Lunch にしよう!」 などという感じで普段はお弁当、時々 Buy Lunch というスタイルで過ごしている子が多いです。(もちろん毎日 Buy Lunch の子もいますよ♪)

ちなみに Torrance の学校では以下のメニューにミルクがついて 1 食 3 ドルです。
